Heavy Melbourne four-piece High Tension have announced their plans for a tactical assault on the East Coast this November, in celebration of their new album, Death Beat. The band have also unveiled a video for their manic new single, Mountain of Dead.
The band, composed of members of The Nation Blue and Young & Restless, will be taking their acrid set of energetic, dance floor-ready, distortion-fuelled bangers through Brisbane’s Crowbar, Sydney’s Spectrum and the home of Melbourne rock & roll, The Tote, leaving mountain-high piles of exhausted punters in their wake.
Their new video, which readers can check out below, is coming just in time for Halloween festivities. Directed by Matt Weston and Dave Withers, this spooky affair was filmed in “the depths of the Aussie bush,” thanks to a shooting space provided by Cosmic Psychos’ Ross Knight. With a mix of bush, nightfall, fire, and dead animal skeletons, this is one you’re gonna want to watch with the lights on.
