The Hills Are Alive 2016 Drops Surprise Bonus Lineup Announcement

The Hills Are Alive 2016 lineup has expanded once again with the addition of 7 new acts.

The surprise bonus artist announcement is headed up by the rib-cracking Barry Morgan of Barry Morgan’s World Of Organs, plus an incredible variety of other acts including Melbourne singer-songwriter HOWQUA, FEL!X The Magician (yep, a real life magician), mysterious late night duo I’m-Re, Gameboy electro act Jamatar, local South Gippsland rapper Canverse, Uncle Penny Bags And The Vibe-A-Centrics and Phillip Island acoustic duo Nic and Mads – recent winners of the South Gippsland busker’s festival.

They join the previously announced crop of local power-artists Bad//Dreems, Ngaire, Tired Lion, The Belligerents, E^ST and tonnes more on the 2016 lineup, bringing the total number of acts performing at this year’s festival to a whopping 33.

Organisers have also announced that tickets are once again on track to sell out for the 8th year in a row.

The Hills Are Alive 2016 is set to go down on the rolling hills of Victoria’s South Gippsland over three days and two nights from the 25th to 27th March. The BYO camping festival has branched out from its invite-only policy for the first time in 2016, with tickets now available to the general public.
