Ivan Ooze Announces East Coast Tour For New Mixtape ‘The Social Alien 2: Memoirs From The Milky Way’

Melbourne MC Ivan Ooze has announced a new east coast tour in support of his forthcoming mixtape The Social Alien 2: Memoirs From The Milky Way.

The ‘Memoirs From The Milky Way Tour’ will see Ivan and his new tunes hit up venues in Sydney, Melbourne and the newly-revived Sprung Festival in Queensland this October, before he performs at Festival Of The Sun in December.

“The show is entirely new,” says Ivan.

“I have so many new songs that I am so fucking stoked to perform for everyone. It’s a very balanced mix between stoner sing-a-longs, big bangers and straight out hip hop and I think anyone who attends is going to be blown away by the new show.

“I also have a fresh new stage set up I’m excited to unleash so I’m most certain people are going to leave wanting to see more.”

The Social Alien 2: Memoirs From The Milky Way — the follow-up to the first The Social Alien mixtape, which dropped in 2015 — is set for release on 29th September, packing 21 new tracks and a new single.

“The piece is full of dark stories, party vibes, intoxicated memories, stoner sing-a-longs, relationship issues and I am more than excited to unleash it into the world,” says Ivan of the project.

It’s already been a big 24 months for Mr Ooze; his collab track with Crooked Colours is getting solid airtime, he toured in support of his mates Peking Duk, and he’s even dropped a collab with Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah.
