Japanese Wallpaper Announces Debut Album ‘Glow’ And National Tour

Melbourne producer Gab Strum – AKA Japanese Wallpaper – has shared details of his forthcoming debut album, along with a string of national tour dates to coincide.

Glow will be released Friday, 18th October through Wonderlick, and sees the songwriter’s vocals take centre stage, as heard on latest single ‘Imaginary Friends’. The album also features previous singles like 2016’s ‘Cocoon’ and last year’s ‘Fooling Around’.

Strum has been steadily making a name for himself since 2014, going on to produce for acts like Mallrat, Allday and Eilish Gilligan and remixing Charli XCX‘s ‘Need Ur Luv’ back in 2018, in addition to his solo output.

The Glow national tour will kick off shortly after the album’s release, and will feature support from New Zealand’s Lontalius and Montgomery from Melbourne.

Check out tour dates and watch the video for ‘Imaginary Friends’ below. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 16th August.
