Jason Mraz has announced a couple of headlining sideshows to go along with sets at Bluesfest 2013 and West Coast Blues & Roots. Last year the American songwriter released his fourth studio album Love Is a Four Letter Word, and Mraz is all set to share the love with fans in Melbourne and Sydney.
Love Is A Four Letter Word spawned the hit single I Won’t Give Up, which stormed the charts, going number one on the Billboard’s Digital Songs chart. It amassed in excess of 2.5 million views on YouTube in the first week, and currently is sitting pretty on over 23 million.
Joining Mraz for his headlining dates are fellow countrymen Atlanta, Georgia country/folk act Zac Brown Band. The American seven-piece have a whole bunch of hit singles and two platinum-selling records to their credit, with 2012 album Uncaged receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album.
Tickets for Mraz’s Bluesfest 2013 sideshows go on sale at 9am on Monday, January 21, 2013.
