John Newman Brisbane Show Cancelled

Written by Greg Moskovitch on May 2, 2014

Frontier Touring have announced the cancellation of the final leg of silver-throated British singing talent John Newman, which was set to take place at the Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane this Saturday, 3rd May. According to the promoter, the Feel The Love singer has fallen ill and lost his voice.

Following a long week of live music, including performances in Melbourne, Sydney, and as part of the 56th TV Week Logie Awards last Sunday where he performed his UK hit Love Me Again, in addition to a whirlwind of promotional activity, Newman is unable to perform his final show.

Under doctor’s advice, the singer will return home, rest and recuperate in order to continue his ascension to the top of the charts, propelled by the release of his critically acclaimed debut album, Tribute. All ticket-holders will have their money refunded via original point of purchase. All tickets booked online or by phone via credit card will be automatically refunded. Visit Oztix for more info.
