Julia Jacklin Announces Biggest Aussie Headline Shows To Date

Sydney’s Julia Jacklin has announced a pair of huge homecoming shows for May, which will be her biggest Aussie headline shows to date.

The singer-songwriter has locked in new shows in Melbourne and Sydney, where she’ll continue to show off her 2016 debut album Don’t Let The Kids Win. Along the way, she’ll be supported by Melbourne artist Jaala, as well as Rough River in Melbourne, and her Phantastic Ferniture bandmate Elizabeth Hughes in Sydney.

Julia Jacklin also recently released her self-directed music video for ‘Coming Of Age’, which you can watch below.

“I spent a lot of my teenage years wandering the streets of my hometown Springwood, so it seemed fitting to make the music video for ‘Coming of Age’ with my high school friend behind the camera and my younger brother and I in front,” she says.

“My first job was at the Springwood Gardens Chinese Restaurant and I managed to get my old boss in a shot. I didn’t think he’d remember me, it’s been a decade since I spent my weekends cleaning plates and putting prawn crackers in the deep fryer.”
