Julian Casablancas + The Voidz Falls Festival Sideshows Announced

Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have locked in two highly anticipated Falls Festival sideshows for January 2015. The scuzzy rock outfit, lead by The Strokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas, will play headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney when they’re in town for Falls and Southbound festivals.

Casablancas toured solo last time he was in the country, selling out shows in Melbourne and Sydney. When he returns to Australia with The Voidz next year, Aussie fans will have their first opportunity to witness the band play live, and demand for tickets will be similarly immense.

Julian Casablancas + The Voidz released their abrasive debut album Tyranny in September. The band’s first full-length studio effort coupled New York via LA rock vibes with a splash of avant-garde experimentalism and punkish tenacity. Catch the band shaking up those squeaky-clean indie rock tropes in album cut Where No Eagles Fly, below.

Julian Casablancas + The Voidz will perform Falls Festival sideshows in Melbourne on 6th January and in Sydney on 7th January. Both shows are 18+ only. Full tour and ticket details are available below.
