Justice To Release New EP Next Week

The internationally loved-up French electro powerhouse Justice have announced that they will be following up 2011’s hugely successful Audio, Video, Disco with an EP duped New Lands. The announcement couldn’t have come at a better time for Aussie fans, who will be seeing them in DJ set formation at Parklife in September.

The EP has a star-studded guest list, featuring a fairly impressive list of who’s who in the EDM universe. Joining the twosome on the release will be Canada’s A-Trak as well as fellow countryman Sebastian and DJ Falcon, adding their own flare to the tracks. Ed Banger Records’ (who will be facilitating the release) top dog Busy P issued a statement earlier on the release, discussing the aforementioned remixes, according to TheMusic.com.au.

“My oldest friend DJ Falcon was surfing away, it wasn’t easy to get him out of the water and go back in the studio…He did it for us, his Roulé touch, like the perfect soundtrack for a little ride on the Pacific Coast Highway. A-Trak is for me the North American side of Ed Banger records, here again, it was natural to ask him to remix his Justice friends. Sebastian went downtempo, hypnotic, if you’re fed [up] with Ni**as in Paris (you heard it 11 times in a row…) you might like this joint!”

You’ll have to excuse the broken English, but his point is clear: fans can expect a lot from the release and the subsequent remixes, which, if all goes to plan, will be like a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale market.

The EP will be released online Monday June 25. The first single will be title track New Land and will have a clip to go along with it; but don’t get to excited, that won’t be out until later in July.

For now, check out one of the remixes featuring A-Trak. Our Friday gift to you. Enjoy!
