Justin Bieber Concert Targeted By Thieves In South Africa

There has been more high drama on Justin Bieber‘s troubled Believe world tour. A gang of marauders raided Johannesburg’s Soccer City Stadium on Sunday after the teen dream’s show, stealing over a million rand (AUD $109,000).

Armed with ropes, hammers and chisels, the robbers reportedly broke into a strongroom and stole earnings from both Bieber’s show and a Bon Jovi show from earlier in the week. The thieves are believed to have snuck in through the roof undetected, resulting in the missing cash going unnoticed until Monday. South African police spokesperson Katlego Mogale stated:

“The money was taken from the building and they only realised today. We don’t know how many people were involved as we are still gathering evidence.”

This is the latest in a long line of problems on the J.Biebs world tour, which wraps up in Atlanta in August. The highlights include the popstar turning up late on stage in Dubai, his attempt to smuggle a pet monkey through customs in Germany and the discovery of some reefer on his tour bus in Sweden.

We hate to advocate grabbing some popcorn and watching a teenager have a complete breakdown, but ah, what the heck, it’s Tuesday. Go right ahead.
