Kanye West Dubs Aziz Ansari’s ‘Famous’ Spoof The Track’s Official Video

For a guy who seems to prefer his own inner-dialogue to any type of logic, Kanye West has made a surprisingly logical decision by anointing Aziz Ansari and Eric Wareheim’s bromanticlly hilarious video for Famous, the track’s ~official~ video.

One of the standouts of the still heavily debated The Life Of Pablo, Famous penetrated the zeitgeist well and truly when Aziz and Master Of None counterpart Wareheim attributed their own set of visuals to the track. Featuring fine dining, picturesque locations and a disproportionate amount of wailing, the pair filmed their effort while in Italy.

The news came via a rep from JASH (a comedy collective founded by and featuring Wareheim) who explained: “Eric [Wareheim] uploaded it on his own YouTube channel with the help of JASH, a comedy collective that he helped found, when Kanye agreed to have it be the official music video for the song.”

This isn’t the first time that West has looked to Hollywood to do the heavy lifting for his visual stimuli; You’ll no doubt remember the Seth Rogan x James Franco masterpiece for Bound 2, which received high-praise from Ye himself. Back in 2007, Kanye tagged in a pre-The Hangover Zach Galifianakis for the ‘alternative’ version of the Graduation track Can’t Tell Me Nothing.
