Aired on the French television network Canal+ back in June, Daft Punk Unchained, a documentary on French electronic duo Daft Punk, is set for a worldwide release date in the near future, with a trailer just released.
The trailer features the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Paul Williams and Nile Rodgers discussing the huge influence the group has had. “Who revolutionised Dance Music the most? I think you’d say, ‘Daft Punk'” says West in the trailer.
The star studded appearances don’t stop there though with Giorgio Moroder, Michel Gondry, Todd Edwards, Pete Tong, photographer Peter Lindbergh, artist Leiji Matsumoto and former manager and Ed Banger founder Pedro Winter all speaking about the legendary producers.
Co-written by by Hervé Martin Delpierre and Marina Rozenman, with Delpierre doubling as director, the film is sure to be one of the most anticipated documentaries of the next year.
