Kanye West Says He Won’t Release New Music Until Out Of His Contract Ends

Kanye West has taken to Twitter today to reveal that he won’t be releasing any new music until he has finished with his contracts with Sony and Universal.

In a string of several tweets where West truly let his feelings known across a myriad of issues, West took aim at record label companies while also wanting to meet with several rappers he’s had falling outs with.

“I’m not putting no more music out till I’m done with my contract with Sony and Universal,” West tweeted.

West also called out French conglomerate Vivendi, whose family reside in Calabasas and own a stake in Univeral.

“Vivendi family I’m in Calabassas (sic),” he tweeted, “come holla at me”.

He also called out Drake, J. Cole and his “big bro” Jay-Z, saying that he wishes to mend things between them.

“I need a publicly apology from J Cole and Drake to start with immediately … I’m fighting for us,” he said, later saying he needs to meet up with ‘Sean Carter’ before correcting his misspelling of Jay-Z’s name.

“My bad I meant Shawn … no disrespect to my big bro.”

He then went on to speak about how he wishes for all the big names to come together and “love each other.”

West was scheduled to release his tenth studio album DONDA earlier this year, but it never arrived. He has released some music in 2020 though, including the Travis Scott featuring single ‘Wash Us In The Blood’.
