Kanye West To Follow Up ‘Cruel Summer’ With ‘Cruel Winter’?

In theory, a cruel summer must be followed by a cruel winter. But is that enough to encourage Kanye West to get busy with release number two from his G.O.O.D Music posse? Protege Q-Tip thinks it might be.

One of West’s many cohorts, Q-Tip never actually made it onto the Cruel Summer release. When asked about this by MTV at the BET awards (Via NME), the rapper responded: “I know, I know, I’m sorry about that, but I have to let the cat out of the bag. Kanye’s probably gonna get…if there’s a Cruel Summer then there’s got to be a Cruel Winter, right?”

Cruel Summer dropped back in September and featured collaborations with many of West’s up and coming talent, including Mr Hudson, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Big Sean, as well as many of the genres heavyweights: Kid Cudi, R Kelly, John Legend, and Jay-Z.

That particular release was complimented with a 30-minute super experimental, super weird movie of the same name, which aired at Cannes. It tells the story of Kid Cudi, a car thief who has fallen in love with a blind Arabian Princess. You can probably expect something similar with Cruel Winter.
