Colombian music sensation, Karol G, surprised fans on her 33rd birthday and Valentine’s Day by releasing her latest single, “Contigo,” in collaboration with global star Tiësto.
The new song, “Contigo,” is a follow-up to Karol G’s award-winning album “Mañana Será Bonito.” In this collaboration with Tiësto, they blend pop and synth sounds to create a song that’s sure to touch hearts worldwide.

Taking inspiration from Leona Lewis’ hit “Bleeding Love,” “Contigo” delivers a powerful message with lyrics like “no quiero vida si no es contigo” (meaning “I don’t want a life if it’s not with you”), reminding the importance of love in our lives.
Co-created by Karol G and Pedro Artola, and produced by WeOwnTheCity, the song’s narrative comes to life through a mesmerizing music video. The music video, starring Karol G, Tiësto, and Young Miko, tells a touching love story. It shows a couple deeply in love, overcoming obstacles together.
According to Billboard, she confirmed the single during a Mexico Concert “My fans in Mexico City had a surprise for me, where they wrote the phrase on a gigantic banner, without them knowing it was part of my new single,” she said in her Instagram Story. “I got really emotional and couldn’t hold back from sharing the news that this song comes out on my birthday, Feb. 14. Thanks to everyone who got together for this surprise, and my team for helping them make this possible.”
