As promised, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced details for another leg of their newly-established national festival, Gizzfest, launched in celebration of their impending new album Quarters.
The Perth Gizzfest leg is set to take place at The Rosemount on Saturday 23rd May. Acts joining King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard on the West Australian lineup include Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Mugwump, Dream Rimmy, Gunns, Hideous Sun Demon, Sam Atkin, Laurel Fixation, Shit Narnia, Aborted Tortoise, Doctopus and more.
Melbourne Gizzfest was announced yesterday and lineups for other cities will follow this week as King Gizzard prepare for what they have dubbed “their most ambitious and freaked out national headline tour yet.”
Quarters will be released on Friday, 1st May — see its epic opener, The River, below.
