One of this year’s biggest winners in music would have to be the genre-bending King Krule, which makes his involvement in next year’s St Jerome’s Laneway Festival all the more exciting, and today Krule has unveiled his own itinerary for the tour with two headlining tour dates.
Since the release of his stunning debut 6 Feet Beneath the Moon, King Krule has been compared to the likes of Joe Strummer, Edwyn Collins and some even dropping the Morrissey bomb. Truth is, King Krule sounds exactly like King Krule and no-one else.
Incorporating all the best bits of jazz, dubstep and hip hop all held together with his glorious vocals, King Krule is seriously onto something and this will be clearer than ever when he brings his magic to Australian stages in 2014.
