Earlier in the year we were gifted with a brand new track from beloved powerhouse rockers Kingswood, and now we can rejoice in the news that there’ll be a whole album’s worth. Today, the band have announced their second full-length record After Hours, Close To Dawn, which is set for release on Friday, 3rd March. Then, moments later, they’ll be hitting the road.
Rather than rest on their laurels with ARIA-nominated 2014 debut Microscopic Wars, Kingswood are hungry to kick it into uncharted territories with After Hours, Close To Dawn, proving as much with the first single from the album Creepin. The band went hell for leather for the video too, submitting a full-epic visual stimulant for the track.
Bringing together the best parts of R&B groove with rock n’ roll panache, After Hours is poised to take Kingswood to the next echelon of Australian rock outfits.
“Any perspective on what we should sound like has been thrown out the window,” explains frontman Alex Laska.
