Lamb Of God Frontman Randy Blythe Still In Prison

Music Feeds, like most of the music community, have been closely monitoring the arrest of Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe since he was taken into custody on June 27 by Prague police officers and charged with manslaughter over the accidental death of a fan during a Lamb of God show in Prague on May 24, 2010.

The incident in question (footage embedded below) occurred when a fan suffered head injures after being ejected from the stage. The injuries sadly led to the fan passing away 14 days later due to bleeding in the brain.

Blythe was reportedly released on bail after paying the sum of 4 million Czech Koruna (approximately $200,000 US) but according to an article posted by Loudwire only hours ago, the Lamb of God frontman currently remains in lockup.

Metal Underground reported that Blythe will remain in the Pankrác Prison in Prague for at least another ten days (although according to Loudwire he may be released before then) whereafter he must remain in the Czech Republic until further court action, due to being a perceived flight risk.

In response to the situation, All Shall Perish guitarist Ben Orum created a T-shirt that simply read ‘Free Randy’ (pictured below). The T-shirt costs $10 with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Blythe’s legal fund. Available via VIP Merch the T-shirt has already sold-out, though surely more will be made asap.

In expressing why they created the T-shirt, Perish and VIP Merch simply stated ‘WE THINK IT’S BULLS–T!’
