Laneway Festival 2016 Lineup Announced

UPDATE 14/09/16: The 2017 Laneway Festival lineup has now been announced.

ORIGINAL STORY: Your official Laneway Festival 2016 lineup announcement has arrived, with the likes of Grimes, Flume, CHVRCHES, Beach House and Violent Soho set to take the stage at next year’s event.

Other acts announced on the festival lineup include Fidlar, Big Scary, DMAs, Hermitude, High Tension, Shamir, The Internet, The Smith Street Band, Thundercat and a stack more.

A few artist in fact already outed themselves for Laneway 2016, with the likes of electronic producer Hudson Mohawke and Canadian duo Purity Ring, spilling the beans earlier this year.

The Aussie leg of Laneway kicks off at Adelaide’s Hart’s Mill on Friday 5th February, before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds in Bowen Hills on Saturday 6th, Sydney College of the Arts at Rozelle on Sunday 7th, Melbourne’s Footscray Community Arts Centre on Saturday 13th and Fremantle’s Esplanade Reserve and West End on Sunday 14th.

Both the Adelaide and Brisbane events will be for ages 16+, with Laneway – as per usual – to partner with a variety of bars, restaurants, designers and visual artists in each city in support of keeping it local.

UPDATE 04/12/15: Tobias Jesso Jr. has been forced to cancel his appearance at Laneway Festival. Royal Headache have now been added to the bill.

Laneway Festival 2015 Lineup

Advance Laneway Festival tickets will be available from 9.00am (local time), Friday 25TH September until 5.00pm (local time), Sunday 27th September or until tickets sell out at via VISA.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday 30TH September at 9.00am (local time) via Laneway Festival.
