We’re still waiting on that Gorillaz album that is reportedly nearly done but now we may have an indication of who is on it.
The internet, via Hasitleaked, has uncovered 20 new Gorillaz song titles registered with the Phonographic Performance Company (PPC) under the year 2017.
Artists register songs as a copyright measure sometimes before release and it seems Damon Albarn and co have taken this precaution very early.
It doesn’t mean all these songs are going to end up on the album but if even half of them come out, we’re in for a treat.
The songs registered have a stacked list of collaborators including Grace Jones, Danny Brown, De La Soul and even Carly Simon.
Their single with Benjamin Clementine, ‘Hallelujah Money’, from earlier this year is also listed.
