One of the UK’s biggest festivals, Leeds & Reading has unveiled its 2012 lineup. The lineup, featuring headliners such as Foo Fighters, The Cure and the standard British festival act Kasabian, will play across the August Bank Holiday (24th – 26th August). The lineup has not received the most positive reception with punters criticising the placement of Paramore and questioning as to why Kasabian appeared on the lineup, but then again what festival would have a lineup without it being questioned.
The lineup also features reunited rockers At The Drive In, who are headlining the NME/BBC 1 stage along side the likes of Justice, Two Door Cinema Club and The Maccabees. The whereabouts of Bloc Party has also been brought into speculation, with their current lack of UK Festival dates, having just announced a handful of concerts across mainland Europe, and hopefully a select few dates on our own shores for Splendour In The Grass (Here’s hoping).
