Liam Gallagher Is Recovering After Falling Out of a Helicopter

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is recovering from injuries he sustained after falling out of a helicopter following his headline set at Isle of Wight Festival in the UK over the weekend.

Taking to Twitter, where he remains one of the best/most chaotic users of the platform, Gallagher posted a photo of his scarred and bandaged face and reassuring fans that he was okay.

“So check this out I fell out the helicopter last night you couldn’t [write] it all good who said RnR is dead Keith moon eat your drum skin out C’mon you know,” he wrote of the incident, which The Independent reports happened away from the Isle of Wight festival site.

Gallagher followed it up with a picture of a bottle of Estrella beer, explaining that “What doesn’t kill ya makes ya TUFF” and joking suggesting the photo of his injuries may serve as the cover art for his next album.

When one punter suggested his injuries were the result of merely missing the side step after the vehicle had already landed, Gallagher retorted, “100 thousand feet you bumbaclart.” He also suggested there was footage of the accident, which will be used in an upcoming music video.
