Liam Gallagher Reviews Aussie Singer Meg Mac, Doesn’t Hold Back

Renowned despiser of things, Liam Gallagher, has turned his critical eyes (and ears) to the music of Australian singer-songwriter Meg Mac on the latest episode of his new ‘Weekly Music Corner’ show on Vice.

After giving his opinion on tracks by The Blow and Sparks, Gallagher gives his initial reaction to Meg Mac’s single ‘Low Blows’.

“Not for me,” he says.

“It’s alright, it’s just not for me. It’s not my kind of music… I’m sure she’s a nice person.”

When asked what “scene” he thinks the song might be part of, Gallagher suggests the “teacups” ride at Disneyland, saying it makes him think of “sitting on them… in the rain.”

Gallagher’s short (but not-so-sweet) Meg Mac review comes after he reviewed fellow Aussie artist Vera Blue on the previous episode of ‘Weekly Music Corner’.

Gallagher will return to Australia later this year to perform at Falls Festival — and maybe be confronted by Meg Mac and Vera Blue in person? — with a few festival sideshows also lined up.

Watch him review Meg Mac’s ‘Low Blows’, below.
