It’s been over seven years since we got the most recent Limp Bizkit album, but now it looks like the band is getting back to work on their long-awaited and highly anticipated sixth studio album.
There’s been talk of a sixth Limp Bizkit album for yonks, but this is the first time we’ve seen actual proof – from someone besides Fred Durst – that it’s actually coming.
Guitarist Wes Borland posted a video to Instagram fiddling around with his guitar with a very telling caption.
“Getting warmed up to actually make a brand new @limpbizkit album,” he wrote. “We would have started last Saturday but were displaced by the fires and lost some gear. Getting back on our feet and in the studio within the week.”
ICYMI, Fred Durst was one of the unfortunate people who lost their home to the California wildfires. On top of that, Borland revealed he lost a whole lot of studio equipment in the fire as well.
