Listen: Dear Time’s Waste Unveil The Delightful ‘Heavy High’ Off New Album

With a release date of November 23, Dear Time’s Waste have given fans ample time to aquaint themselves with the new material. Today marks the release of the first single off the album, and we have the goods for you to sample.

Pulling back the facade of Dear Time Waste will reveal Claire Duncan. The New Zealand singer/songwriter and mastermind behind the project, Duncan cast herself from society to record the album at both her Eden Terrace flat and an expansive vacant studio space. The burgeoning songstress then filled that empty space with her vast and expansive soundscapes.

Titled Some Kind of Eden, the release will be following in the footsteps of her 2011 LP Spells. Duncan is sure to showcase just how much she’s learnt in that time as she grows further as an artist. You can now sink your teeth into Heavy High, a vivid and dynamic ditty demonstrating Dear Time Waste’s frustration with the mundane beeps and glitches of modern electronic music.
