Listen To All The Music Prince Bought On His Final Record Store Shopping Binge

Prince didn’t just make incredible music, he also enjoyed listening to it.

“PLEASE SUPPORT UR LOCAL RECORD STORE 2DAY: (THROAT CLEARS 2 ATTRACT ATTENTION): ELECTRIC FETUS”, The Purple One tweeted on April 16th, just five days before his shock death at the age of 57.

And if you’re wondering what an “electric fetus” is, it’s actually a record store situated just half an hour’s drive from Prince’s Paisley Park home.

And as NME reports, Prince was a regular customer of his local, and even popped in on Record Store Day to splurge on a few choice cuts.

Retail manager Bob Fuchs revealed the full contents of Prince’s shopping list to Minnesota Public Radio, and it’s a varied, eclectic collection spanning nearly eight decades of music.
