Listen To A Nostalgia-Inducing ‘Stranger Things’ Mixtape

Stranger Things is the latest Netflix show to blow-up, tapping into our nostalgia with ’70s and ’80s sci-fi, horror references and now a UK producer has converted that nostalgia to a mixtape.

DJ Yoda has taken the theme music and coupled it with audio snippets from the show as well as a plethora of throwback tunes that were featured in the first season of the show.

There’s Toto’s Africa, Rockwell’s Somebody’s Watching Me and Modern English’s I Melt With You all slotted into the hour long mix that will no doubt build anticipation for the show’s official soundtrack.

Netflix tweeted out a few days ago that there would be an official soundtrack for the show. It’s unknown what the tracklist will be at this point but it seems it’s going to be a collection of tracks by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of Austin band S U R V I V E who are responsible for the score.

They’re pretty busy at the moment as they also have their own record RR7349 coming out on 30th September.
