Rocketjuice And The Moon have posted a number of new high quality live recordings online (below) that were recorded at their live show in Marseille on Sunday (October 30). The new band was put together by Blur’s Damon Albarn and sees Red Hot Chili Peppers Flea on bass and Tony Allen from The Good, The Bad & The Queen on drums.
The band are due to release their self-titled album in 2012, Speaking with the Irish Times, Albarn explained the origin of the band name:
Someone in Lagos did the sleeve design and that’s the name he gave it, which suits me because trying to find a name for another band is always tricky.
