We have a fresh Prince track, courtesy of his estate. It’s another single from his forthcoming, deluxe reissue of Sign o’ the Times and it’s called ‘Cosmic Day’.

Sharing news of the track via Instagram, Prince’s estate said, “The Prince Estate and @WarnerRecords are pleased to release the song and handwritten lyrics for ‘Cosmic Day’ from Prince’s legendary vault. ‘Cosmic Day’ was recorded on November 15, 1986 at Sunset Sound, and is one of the most revered recordings from the expanded reissue of Sign O’ The Times.”
Sign o’ the Times is slated for re-issue on Friday, 25th September this year via Warner. The re-issue of the double album will see a bloody massive 60 previously unreleased tracks.
Previously, the estate released his 1985 Live album Prince and the Revolution: Live. They also re-issued Up All Nite With Prince: The One Nite Alone Collection.
