We finally have our taste of new Vampire Weekend music, and all their details from their highly anticipated fourth studio album, but it looks like Ezra Koenig and co. have hired an unlikely friend to help them out with a new music video: funny man Jonah Hill.
As reported by Stereogum, Hill and the band was spotted at gourmet New York food joint, Zabar’s. Apparently, the video was filmed while plain old customers continued to shop. Reportedly, a crew member told people that the video is supposed to show “a day on the Upper West Side.”
Steve Lacy was also spotted at the film shoot, which is leading people to believe that the video the band is filming is for a song called ‘Sunflower’ or ‘Flower Moon’, which was debuted last year in June while the band performed in California.
Earlier this year, we got two new songs from VW – ‘Harmony Hall’ and ‘2021’. They have also announced their new album is called Father Of The Bride, and will be released sometime in autumn.
Watch some clips fo the video shoot below.
