A NSW Police Force spokesperson has confirmed a 44-year-old man was found dead in his car at Bluesfest. Paramedics attempted to revive the man after his friends alerted a medic at around 2:30pm yesterday but he could not be saved.
Forensic investigators were called to the scene and a post-mortem is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
Police have said they do not believe the death to be suspicious.
The man is believed to be a local resident of the Tweed Region.
