Mark Your Calendars, Newtown Festival Is Coming Back This November

The most anticipated date on the Inner West calendar has been announced, with the iconic Newtown Festival sharing that they’ll be returning to Camperdown Memorial Rest Park for their 41st year on Sunday, 10th November.

Honouring Newtown’s vibrant community, the festival is a full day of music, art, talks, workshops, food, and of course, plenty of doggos/puppers/good boys etc. The festival raises funds each year for the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, with the $5+ entry fee enabling them to provide frontline services for those experiencing hardship in the Inner West.

“Newtown Festival truly is a Festival “by the people, for the people”,” says Newtown Neighbourhood Centre CEO Liz Yeo. If it was not for our talented local musicians who perform for free, our local artisans and restaurants who take part, our generous sponsors, and the tens of thousands of community members who come faithfully every year to be part of the unique Newtown festival vibe, we would not be able to continue to provide the services we do for those people who are doing it most tough. We never take this support for granted.”

Last year, over 40,000 people attended the much-loved festival.

Stay tuned for the festival’s music program – it’s always pretty excellent. Last year’s edition featured the likes of Exhibitionist, The Kid Laroi, Palms and Dappled Cities.
