Announced earlier in the year as part of Melbourne Music Week 2016, the mini-festival Love Live Music At The ‘G has now expanded its lineup, boosting it with a hefty dosage of local talent, putting some of our nation’s brightest up-and-comers on centre stage at the iconic Victorian venue this November.
Already announced as part of the spectacular are The Delta Riggs and Pierce Brothers, and now organisers have locked in the addition of 14 other Australian act who will now be forming across nine stages specifically set up for the showcasing.
Organisers are expecting a worthy crowd of around 2,500 punters for the event, which will be the first of its kind at one of our nation’s finest sporting locales.
That’s not to say the venue hasn’t proven its mettle in the live music world previously; since its construction in 1974 it’s reverberated sounds made by David Bowie, U2, Michael Jackson and more. Love Live Music will, however, be the stadium’s first festival.
Organisers have now unveiled the event’s official schedule, giving punters an opportunity to get their day in order before embarking. You can give that a once over below, with the full lineup.
