Mel B “Hoping” Spice Girls’ Reunion Tour Will Hit Australia

‘Scary Spice’ Mel B has revealed she is “hoping” the highly-anticipated Spice Girls reunion tour will eventually hit Australia.

Last month, the girl group announced a UK tour for June 2019, which will feature Mel B, Geri, Mel C and Emma Bunton, but not Victoria Beckham.

During an interview with The Project on Wednesday night, Mel B was asked if there is a chance the tour will make its way down under.

“See you’re asking the wrong person; I’m just gonna say yes, but I’ve gotta check with my other girls first. You just [ask] one of us,” she said.

“I’m hoping it’s not just gonna be in the UK, it is gonna carry on to Europe, to America, to Australia, but we’ll wait and see. We’ll wait and see.”

Speaking about her memories of Australia (where she lived for two years), Mel B said, “I love it, love it, love it, love it.”

Spice Girls last reunited for a world tour back in 2007 — their first since going on indefinite hiatus in 2000. The group were due to perform in Sydney on 17th January 2008, but the show was eventually cancelled.

Since the announcement of the group’s UK reunion tour, the internet has called for Adele to stand in for Victoria Beckham on the tour, after the singer shared her excitement about the Spice Girls reunion.
