Friends should always be able to get it on with other friends and still carry on with business as usual. While the entire globe was in peak Spice Girls fever, turns out two of the band’s members were busy being each other’s lover…at least for a moment.
Speaking to Piers Morgan during a taping of his new show Life’s Stories, Mel B (aka Scary Spice) reportedly told Morgan that she and Geri (aka Ginger Spice) had a one-off hook up back in the day.
“She is going to hate me for this because she is all posh with her country house and her husband, but it’s a fact,” Brown said, according to the Daily Mail. “But it wasn’t a thing, it just happened and we just giggled at it and that was it.”
Mel C (aka Sporty Spice) was reportedly in the audience for the taping, and apparently had zero clue of this little fling.
“This is all new to me,” she reportedly said.
‘I have said it now,” Mel B, who identifies as bisexual, said. “All done. She is going to kill me.”
Well let’s hope Geri doesn’t kill Mel B, as the two of them are reuniting with two other Spice Girls for the band’s first tour in over a decade. So far, the biggest girl group in history – sans Victoria Beckham – have only announced dates in the UK but we’re pretty hopeful that they’ll bring their world-dominating pop down under as well.
