Melbourne has been the proud recipient of a brand new mural dedicated to Gang Of Youths, which was unveiled outside The Forum this arvo.
The Sydney rockers teamed up with the Melbourne venue to celebrate their sold-out, eight-night run of shows there, with a one-of-a-kind piece of street art being unveiled on Hosier Lane.
It was painted by local artist Luke Presto, who worked through the night to unveil the black & white masterpiece just hours before the band grace the Forum Melbourne stage for the first show of their record-breaking eight-header tonight.
“I started at half past nine [Saturday 27th October] and pretty steadily just worked all night,” Presto explains. “This one was a really interesting challenge, it was quite a lot of information in a surprisingly small area, but I like a challenge.”
Now… when does Sydney get one, eh?
