Melissa Etheridge will tour Australia in May 2024. The four-show trip includes shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. It’s part of the heartland rock artist’s international ‘I’m Not Broken’ tour. Etheridge will spend five weeks on tour across the USA before arriving in Australia.
Etheridge’s previous Australian tour was in April 2018, when she appeared at Byron Bay Bluesfest and played headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. That trip was nicknamed the Make Rock Great Again tour. Find all the details of the artist’s 2024 tour below.
Melissa Etheridge – ‘Bring Me Some Water’
Etheridge has spent the past 12 months performing the Broadway solo show, My Window – A Journey Through Life, at New York City’s Square Theatre. My Window is a theatrical production centred on storytelling and music, joining the dots between Etheridge’s childhood in suburban Kansas and her rise to fame in the late 1980s.
The EP, On Broadway, came out in June 2023, including a version of Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller’s ‘On Broadway’, the new song ‘Here I Am Again’ and Etheridge’s first official recording of the long-bootlegged ‘Juliet’. Her most recent album, One Way Out, came out in 2021.
