MGMT have consistently been doing their own for years since the release of breakout album Oracular Spectacular in 2010, so it’s little surprise to learn that the band have formed a new label entitled MGMT Records.
To coincide, the band have shared their first new music since 2018 album Little Dark Age, unveiling a tripped out video for similarly psychedelic new single ‘In the Afternoon.’
They’ll be releasing the track as a limited 12″ with a B-side entitled ‘As You Move Through the World’. It’s out March 2020, and will be the first independent release on the band’s newly-formed label.
