More Acts Added To Mullum Music Festival 2016 Lineup

Mullum Music Festival will be returning to the halls, streets, clubs and pubs of Mullumbimby this November. It’s a festival that is just as much a chance for the community to showcase itself as a whole, as it is for people to flock and see a huge range of local and international acts.

The first lineup announcement last month saw America’s Eilen Jewell joined on the bill by Canada’s Matt Anderson, as well as big local names Olympia, Tash Sultana and more.

Now organisers have announced a second injection of talent, with South Sundan’s Ajak Kwai set to bring her rich, soulful afro-beat to Mullumbimby. Joining her on the second announcement are Aussie ’90s mongrel funk group Skunkhour, Yirrmal Marika who is the nephew of iconic Aboriginal artist Gurrumul, quirky singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin, Ireland’s gypsy-musician Aine Tyrell and more.

The 2016 Mullum Music Festival will take place from Thursday, 17th to Sunday, 20th November and promises to bring together a community-minded music event like no other.
