The organisers of Field Day 2014 kicked things off in style, delivering a lineup featuring the likes of Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Rocky, and Flume, and now they’ve done fans one better, bringing the Red Bull Crate Diggers Stage over from Listen Out and adding Yahtzel, Lancelot, and more to the bill.
Having been a roaring success at promoter Fuzzy‘s Listen Out event, the Red Bull Crate Diggers Stage will be brought over to Field Day 2014 to treat fans to the likes of Purple Sneakers DJs, Falcona DJs, Illya, and many more, playing through some forgotten crate-dug musical treats.
New additions to the lineup include New South Wales’ own Yahtzel, Sydney house producer Lancelot, as well as Flume remixer L D R U, Kilter, Indian Summer, and Field Day Triple J Unearthed 2014 winner KLP, fresh off collaborations with Ta-Ku, What So Not, and Pnau.

A$AP Rocky (US) - Rocky is spoiling his Aussie fans. It's only been a few months since he played here, but the pretty motherfucker himself will be appearing at just as many shows as Wiz. Here’s hoping the two find their way onto one another's stage come Field Day. -

London Grammar (UK) - Having recently released their debut album, London Grammar are the toast of the town right now, picking Australia as one of the first stop-offs for their international touring rounds. The trio will be performing a run of headlining shows while in town, as well as popping up at other highly-regarded festivals. -

Chet Faker (AUS) - Previously touring the country to sold-out audiences as main support for Flume, Chet Faker is certainly a popular man. 'Thinking In Textures' remains the current release from Faker though a collaborative EP with Flume is on the cards so let's hope we see some onstage collaboration from these two. -

Flux Pavilion (UK) - Last in town for Parklife 2011, memories of how Flux Pavilion get down are hazy – though they probably were hazy at Parklife 2011. Never mind, because the dude is returning for Field Day bringing a swag of tracks and collaborations with him, including his hype-worthy 'Do Or Die' featuring Childish Gambino -
Julio Bashmore
Julio Bashmore (UK) - Bashmore was in town not too long ago, belting out his tunes throughout March 2012 and returning to hit up this year's Field Day. The Bristol local has been cruising atop the success of recent singles, though we hold onto hope that more will be released in the coming months. -

What So Not (AUS) - Flume and Emoh Instead will once again fuse their powers. The dynamic duo have been making serious waves the past year, not just locally but internationally, with Skrillex pumping their jams through his record label OWSLA. -

Ta-Ku (AUS) - Perth-based Ta-Ku is becoming a hard man to miss. Appearing on several tracks with prominent Aussie rappers, Ta-Ku has found his way onto the bill for a number of big events. Fans, don’t fool yourself - you will be battling a big crowd for this show. Tracks from 'Home' are sure to be locked and loaded. More collab potential here as well! -
Crystal Fighters
Crystal Fighters (UK/SPA) - by incorporating Basque instrumentation into their music, Crystal Fighters have succeeded in creating a noise that is like nothing else. Of course featuring guitar, drums, synth, all the usual suspects, you won’t be totally out of your depth, culturally speaking, but expect to have your perceptions of indie rock shattered in the nicest possible way. -
Kill The Noise
Kill The Noise (USA) - Riding the same wave of EDM success as Skrillex, Kill The Noise is no small deal. Last in town for Future Music Festival 2013, Kill The Noise's recent remix EP 'Black Magic' is still getting a right flogging at his shows, which is good news for you. -

Shadow Child (UK) - Providing a much-needed hit of deep tech house, the inclusion of Shadow Child should be mandatory for all festivals. The solo DJ/Producer has pricked up ears all over the world with a run of well crafted singles, kicked off with 'String Thing' and 'So High'. He can also boast an impressive list of remixes for Hot Natured, Sub Focus, Dephic and fellow Field Day performers London Grammar. -
Jacques Greene
Jacques Greene (CAN) - Combining the best elements of deep techno, RnB and Chicago house, young producer Jacques Greene has forced dance fans to stop and think about the boundaries of these genres. In 3 years, he's collaborated with everyone from Jimmy Edgar, to Tenashe, to The XX, to Radiohead, and Greene has become an authority on the subject of genre bending, something we will see first hand come Field Day. -

Alison Wonderland (AUS) - Yes, we love her and there's no shame in it. DJ/Producer Alison Wonderland couldn't be hotter right now. Having just dropped her debut original cut 'Get Ready', the classically trained wunderkind is set to show the international EDM scene who's boss. -
Elizabeth Rose
Elizabeth Rose (AUS) - There's a strong sense that there's something big on the near horizon for Elizabeth Rose. With her current single 'The Good Life' being praised by international tastemakers, it's sorta impossible for this to not be the case. Rose will be dropping her new EP in future months and is sure to be planning a big, big show for Field Day. -
Cosmos Midnight
Cosmo’s Midnight (AUS) - This Sydney outfit are not wasting any time at all. Releasing original singles and flipping tracks from the likes of FlyLo, Burial and Four Tet, Cosmo’s Midnight are making as much noise as possible. The crew found themselves performing at Listen Out 2013 as triple j Unearthed winners, so they’re clearly onto something good. -
Panama 1
Panama - After topping Hype Machine with their single 'It’s Not Over' and current single 'Always' looking to follow suit, Sydney crew Panama have turned a whole lotta heads as they push forward with their odes to yacht rock, hopeful house and the '90s. With their sophomore EP on the horizon, this will be a rare moment to catch the 4-piece before they start hitting the main stages of festivals the world over.
