More J Award Nominees Announced

The authority of all good music, triple j, have announced their second round of J Award nominees. Spanning over three categories, the awards will be announced Friday, broadcasting live from Melbourne at 4pm on Friday 23 November. Joining the first batch of announcements are the likes of The Presets, Parkway Drive and Flume. This year’s round of awards showcase the fantastic arsenal that Australian music currently holds, and only acts to show the future of our nations music.

As always, the bookies were quick to jump onto the awards, publishing the odds for this year’s Album of the Year award, with Tame Impala looking like a steal at a solid 11-1 (Currently questioning if the bookies have listened to Lonerism). Other odds include The Presets at 8.50-1 and The Rubens leading the charge at 2.8-1. If you really feel the need to bet on music awards (beats me) head over to Sportsbet or your Local TAB and try your luck.
