Soon to be disbanded Florida rockers Anberlin have announced they will be upgrading to a bigger venue and have made extra tickets available when they step out in front of Adelaide audiences this September on their world-wide farewell tour.
Instead of previously announced venue The Gov, Anberlin’s Adelaide show will now take place at HQ. More tickets are now available and all tickets purchased initially for The Gov will still be valid for the show.
Organisers say tickets to all shows are selling fast, with Anberlin’s gig at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre already sold-out. Speaking to Music Feeds in a recent episode of of Music Feeds Podcast, drummer Nathan Young said Anberlin are eager to repay the love Australian fans have given them over the years.
“Australia is such a special place to us. For us that was the one place where we went overseas forever ago and they actually embraced us and actually was into our record,” he said. “As soon as we had this discussion, we know there was no way we wouldn’t go to Australia. That was just a given.”
