Expanding on his statements that he’s nearly finished the 4th Gorillaz album, Damon Albarn has just announced that we should expect the release by Christmas. Recorded in hotel rooms across the US, entirely on an iPad, Albarn has stated the album will be much more American than Blur, telling NME that it will feature an ‘English voice put through the vocoder of America.’
Still currently on a world tour and with other projects also in the works, an album with Flea and Tony Allen as well as a potential follow up to the self titled Good The Bad & The Queen album, the man is making most other musicians look lazy.
