No Doubt have announced the official release date for their first album together in over a decade via a YouTube video (see below). At this stage the album doesn’t have a name, but September 25 has been penciled in as the day of release.
The album will be the band’s follow up to 2001’s Rock Steady. The band have issued a statement expressing their excitement at the prospect of releasing an album as a band again:
“We are incredibly excited to share the new music with you. Ear candy coming your way! Thank you all so much for your support over the last 25 years. We’re really proud of our new album and we hope you love it as much as we do. We’ll be posting a lot of updates between now and September as we shoot the video and start rehearsing to perform the new songs live for all of you.”
