Just as promised, Victoria’s inaugural NYE On The Hill festival has delivered a lineup worthy of its super exclusive parent event The Hills Are Alive. With a key focus on upcoming Australian flavour, organisers have booked artists from all over the country scheduled to soundtrack the 2-day event which takes place in the remote Loch Village.
Melbourne crew Loon Lake will be headlining the event, with the woodcore stylings of Wagons helping things along. Sydney outfit Palms will also be performing, with organisers drawing particular attention to must-see acts Hayden Calnin and Remi who will both be welcoming releases into the world soon.
It’s not just the musical side of things which will see punters rushing to get their hands on tickets – billed as “48 hours of freedom”, NYE On The Hill offers a two-day period of no crowds, no city chaos, a great location and plenty of chill vibes. The show will go down at secluded retreat The Farm near Loch Valley, so don’t forget the old GPS.
So if Falls Festival sounds a little overwhelming, and you’re looking for a chilled-out, hassle-free New Year’s, grab yourself a ticket when general release go on sale this Sunday, 18th August.
