The city of Townsville will host the latest music festival to roll out for regional Australia in 2025: One Street, One Day. As its name suggests, the festival will take place on Rooney Street near the city’s Railway Estate for one day only: Saturday, July 26th. The festival’s full line-up, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.
Headlining the festival will be Adelaide’s Hilltop Hoods, who recently announced their ninth studio album Fall From The Light for release later this year. It will mark the trio’s first visit to the area in a decade, having last performed there in 2015 – first as part of that year’s Groovin The Moo, then again as part of the Townsville 400. “It’s been way too long since we last played in Townsville,” said DJ Debris, the group’s turntablist, in a press statement. “We can’t wait to get back to your friendly and warm town and be part of [this] festival.”

Ann-Maree Greaney, the Acting Mayor of Townsville, expressed her excitement at the festival coming to the region – describing it as “a real boon for our city” in her own press statement. “[Townsville] Council couldn’t be more proud to be supporting this brand new festival,” she said. “Townsville has a long history of championing the arts – our residents certainly know how to throw their support behind musicians from far and wide, as well as our burgeoning local talent.” Indeed, a handful of Townsville-based musical acts are also set to join the festival line-up at a later date.
