Owl Eyes Debut Album ‘Nightswim’ On The Horizon

If there’s two things we can’t enough of at Feeds, it’s coffee and this guy, and as such we must temper our nasty vices with a helping heap of fine music – so thank goodness for the talented and beautiful Australian songstress Owl Eyes, who is set to offer up our next dose of feel-good with the release of her debut album, Nightswim, in little over a week.

Earlier this year, Owl Eyes, real name Brooke Addamo, released the lead single from Nightswim, an ’80s inspired synth-driven number by the name of Closure. Building on the popularity gained from last year’s sharp-edged Crystalised and the weightier pop ballad Love Run Dry, the song’s versatility means Closure could soundtrack a crucial moment in 1986 film The Labyrinth just as easily as it could be reworked into a soaring modern-day club track.

Next month Owl Eyes will set out on her Nightswim album tour. Tickets are currently on sale and you find the correct ticket outlet for your city right here on Music Feeds.

Stay tuned to Music Feeds over the next week or 2 for more exclusive Owl Eyes content. Nightswim is due out Friday, 19th April and you can preorder your copy now via iTunes.
