Ozzy Osbourne Hits Billboard’s Hot 100 Charts For The First Time In 30 Years

Post Malone released his third record, Hollywood’s Bleeding a few weeks back. A surprising name included in the album’s track listing was 70 year old rocker, Ozzy Osbourne on track nine, ‘Take What You Want’, which also features Travis Scott.

Osbourne today finds himself hitting the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time in 30 years with the track which debuted at No.8.

The last time he landed a single that high on the Hot 100, was back in 1989 where his ‘Close My Eyes Forever’ duet with Lita Ford hit No.8.

There’s 30 years and three months between both top ten tracks, which sets a new Billboard record.

This period has encouraged Osbourne to get back into the studio, with him saying yesterday that it was working with rapper Post Malone after his health issues last year that inspired him to do so. He also revealed that he has a new solo record on the way, recorded in just four weeks with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt.

One thing’s for sure, “this is why i love post malone for shining light on unknown artists.”
