Paramore ‘Spill The Beans’ On Self-Titled Fourth Album

Paramore‘s forthcoming studio release has been a long time coming, with news breaking that the band were entering the studio all the way back in January. But today the band has touched base with fans, assuring them that what they have in store will be well worth the wait.

In a statement posted on the band’s website, the members explain that “the whole making of this album was a rediscovering of ourselves as a band and as friends”, which would explain the lengthy turnaround period I suppose. They added, “It was a process that allowed us the freedom to explore new territory artistically and to liberate ourselves as musicians, singers, and as people!”

The band have also confirmed that the release will be self-titled, stating that “sincerely, we feel that the best way to give it a name is just to call it what it is. This album is us”. The first sample we can expect will come in the form of Now. They commented that the track is “the perfect way to start this new journey we are embarking on”.

The group have big shoes to fill given the success of their previous release Brand New Eyes. It is a challenge made all the more difficult by the departure of two founding members of the band. But as the remaining members explain, the adversity only motivated them “to show people that you can lose battles but come back and win full on wars.”

Paramore will hit shelves April 9, meaning new tuneage for Soundwave 2013.
